Cindy, I think you are right on about the irresponsibility of not only many large corporations but also our own government putting us in this situation over which we have no control. My recommendation is to make sure that each of us has our own financial plan and it is in line with our goals. We each need to be vigilent in watching our investments, savings and expenditures and making sure that we have aligned our budget with what is happening in the world right now. Then my advice is to let it go and go about the daily business of your life. As you said, we have no control over any of this right now. If we have planned properly, there is really nothing else we can do. I also think it is good to remember that over time, things level out, and we never know what is around the corner. The stock market will rise again, and our economy will find a point of stabalization eventually. I still believe as long as we have our health and freedom, we have everything. When I wake up in the middle of the night stressing about things out of my control, I turn on the Food Network. Comfort food always puts me back to sleep. Thanks for the post, I am sure many people are feeling the same way, Mimi
